On 19-21 October 2016, faith leaders gathered for a National HIV Interfaith Consultation in Lusaka, Zambia, to explore challenges and opportunities, and to develop a national action plan for faith-based responses to HIV. The consultation was convened by World Council of Churches, Inerela+ Zambia, the YWCA and the NAC. The event was sponsored by the UNAIDS and PEPFAR. The black clothes and crossed arms are references to the Thursdays in Black and NoXcuses campaigns against gender-based violence.
