S.E.R. Mgr Prof. Dr phil. Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo, chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, recently visited the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva, where the WCC has its office, in order to meet with senior staff members. He was accompanied by a delegation from Forum Engelberg, a Swiss organization dedicated to promoting a fruitful exchange of views at an international level between representatives of science, technology, economics, philosphy, and eminent personalities from the cultural and political world, on crucial issues arising from modern research and scientific progress.
