Waving the flag for action against climate change: Sean Fernand Glenn, of the United States, and the Philippines’ Alan Silayan arrive at Geneva on day 35 of the People’s Pilgrimage, walking from Rome to Paris to drum up interest for a new climate deal at UN climate talks in December. For Silayan, climate change is not relegated to one part of the world, even though some countries feel the effects more strongly: “No matter where you’re from, we are all one people. Climate change has evolved from a political to a moral issue. If we’re disconnected from our environment, we’re disconnected from our spirituality.â€
Climate campaigner Seb Yano arrives in Geneva on the 35th day of the People’s Pilgrimage from Rome, over the Alps and into Geneva. The pilgrimage is heading to Paris in time for COP21. “As a person of faith, I believe in miracles. We truly need a miracle in Paris.â€â€™
