Archbishop Thabo Makgoba, the Anglican archbishop of Cape Town, greets Nadia Gubangxa, a staff member of the Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Task Force. The encounter took place in the Global Village of the 2016 International AIDS Conference in Durban, South Africa. Gubangxa and other advocates praised the archbishop for fighting against the stigma and discrimination regularly associated with sex work.
