This cross carved from discarded teakwood railway sleepers, dating back to the colonial times, was commissioned by the World Council of Churches for its Eigth Assembly at Harare, Zimbabwe, 3-14 December 1998...The cross was carved by Zimbabwean artist David Guy MUTASA.
