A. Dominique Micheli, an assistant general secretary of the World Council of Churches, leads the WCC presidents into Uppsala cathedral for the opening service of worship at the Fourth Assembly, Uppsala, Sweden, 1968. .Immediately behind Mr Micheli is the Archbishop of Canterbury and Archbishop Iakovos. Following is Charles C. Parlin. Next to him (half-hidden) are Dr David G. Moses and Dr Martin Niemöller. .Behind them are Joshua R. Chandran, Metropolitan Nikodim and Eugene C. Blake. A new presidium will be elected by the WCC at the Assembly.
