The 61st session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) took place in New York, from 13-24 March 2017.
WCC together with other ecumenical partners, has been involved in a series of side and parallel events to CSW61.
On 13 March, the WCC, ACT Alliance, US Fund for UNICEF, Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America promoted the panel "Empowering Refugee Women and Children through Education and Employment".
