The 61st session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) took place in New York, from 13-24 March 2017.
WCC together with other ecumenical partners, has been involved in a series of side and parallel events to CSW61.
On 14 March, the ACT Alliance, UNFPA and WCC promoted the panel "Protecting bodies, protecting rights - Religious and customary law enabling economic empowerment?” at the UNFPA headquarters in NYC.
